Location Research

I visited the house that I am planning on shooting my video as the house is the main location for my trailer. I took pictures of parts of the house that will be included in my scenes. This is also to help me draw out my story boards and where it would be best to place the camera for a good angle.

I walked around my local area for ideas on where else I can film to make the trailer more interesting by having a variety of places on the trailer and not make it look like it is based on one location.

Another Location I am going to use is the park. This is because it is a public place and is known for being a lively entertaining place but it could also be a scary place at night when no one is around. I also decided this because a park makes you think of children and because a child is controlling the character it would make sense for the child to go into a park.

I have also included a sidewalk in my location. This is because I want the audience to see her walking and looking as if she is not in her right mind and is being controlled by the child. I made sure that this place doesn’t have a busy surrounding as too much cars will be distracting and would not be right for the scene when she is walking in the middle of the night.
